Hope's AGM
Friday October 16th 2009
This year's AGM was again held in the Frank & Katherine May lecture theatre and was very well supported.
For those involved it was great to see students from John Cleveland college attending the AGM, something through Youthful hope we have been trying to encourage.
During the AGM the Trustees announced that they had awarded 3 new Allison Wilson 1yr grants to:
Dr P Jenkins
Title of Research:Novel Inhibitors of CDK4-Cyclin D1 as potential anti-cancer drugs
Dr S Sale
Title of Research: Systems biology approach to identify biomarkers of efficacy in clinical intervention studies
Dr B Sharp
Title of Research:Towards Individualised Platinum-Based Chemotherapy
